We're always looking for the perfect picture to post and share! But sometimes the out-takes are just as important, showing the true reality! Merry Christmas everyone, and may you find joy in your out-take moments! =)

It seems like so many have experienced so much loss this past year. I'm grateful for this holiday that provides hope for now and forever! Happy Easter!

What I've been up to...

Last year we got the exciting, somewhat shocking, and life-changing news that we were going to be having another baby! Number FIVE! It's a number I always said I'd have, but kind of didn't really think would ever happen. Well, I guess I called my own bluff, because it was happening! As a result I decided to limit my photography business to prepare for baby and make time for my family during the holidays. It was bitter-sweet, as I hated saying no to many of my long-time clients and new opportunities for meeting people and expanding my business. But at the same time it has been very sweet to put all of my focus on my family, our little ones and the growing baby within me. It was the right choice for me. And now, after what seemed like forever and no time at all, he's here!

And I love every little tiny inch of him! Heaven must have little babies, or at least puppies or something, because snuggling something so pure and innocent and sweet is the very definition of heaven! 

I have enjoyed this time so much, but am ready to slowly get back into my business. I will be keeping it limited, just to make sure I don't stretch myself too thin...after all, I do have FIVE kids now! However, even though my photography business is, well, a business, it's also me time. Which is important! I enjoy it so much and love spending time with all of the wonderful people that trust me to capture special moments for their families and loved ones! So here's to a new year and starting back up again! =) 

Temple Prints

I love taking pictures of the temples I visit. They are the most beautiful buildings on earth, and I love to try and get a different angle or image then what you see in all of the stores or distribution centers. This year I've decided to share these images with others! And it's perfect timing with Christmas around the corner!

So, I am selling these images for the next two days as 11x14 and 16x20 prints. Professional quality prints with lustre coating added for quality and color enhancement. Please specify which picture by commenting with the image number and size (the image number is the number above it). You can also text me with the info as well. There is a quick turn-around time! The Shipp Family

I think one of the best things about these pictures, other than the people, are the colors! When Mom told me what colors they were wearing I was so happy! I love the brightness, and the variety. They coordinate but don't match exactly, and they have more than just two colors! So if you're thinking of what to wear or what colors to go with, here's a good example of how to make it work, even with what you have. Though family pictures are also a great excuse to go shopping! =)

The Dobbs Family

And so begins the season for family pictures!

Ever since I've seen the eyes on these sweet kids I've been wanting to take their pictures! So I was so happy to have the chance! This is such a sweet family and it was a pleasure to be with them. Even when a one year old wants to run and not take pictures! =)   I hope you guys enjoy your preview!
